Average cost for inventory?

QuickBooks needs a more sophisticated Inventory system such as FIFO and/or LIFO. Hardly anyone uses average cost for inventory.

Yea I hear this a lot. I really have no idea why Intuit doesn't offer FIFO and/or LIFO for inventory in QuickBooks. After all these years you would think they would. It would be a real improvement if they did.
