Question about bookkeeping help.

hi there my name is Luis Montoya. I am 23 years of age. Recently I helped a friend start up an auto shop business. Now, since i helped him get started, he asked me if i could do the books for him. I thought i would'nt be hard, i guess i was wrong. Now im stuck with an accounting software that i dont even know how to use. I would greatly appreaciate it if you could give me that little extra push to get me going.

I will be frank here. It sounds like you have bitten off more than you can chew. Bookkeeping is not easy, intuitive, or fun. It requires special training, lots of experience, and outside support. I understand that you want to help your friend, and I commend you for that. Perhaps the best way to be helpful is to pass the task along to somebody who can do it more efficiently.

Either that, or challenge yourself to get the proper training so you can be the best bookkeeper for your friend that you can possibly be.
