Voided Invoice

by Jerri
(Lake Charles, LA)

Can an invoice that has been voided be unvoided?

Jennifer replies:

Hi Jerri,

There is not a function in QuickBooks to unvoid a voided invoice. I suggest you re-enter it, using the exact information from the original invoice, including the date and invoice number. Then delete the voided one.

If there was a customer payment applied to the original invoice, you will need to re-apply it to the new invoice.

I hope this answers your question about a voided invoice. Take care and thanks for writing.
